Krötzsch, H., Handbook of Postage Stamps for Old German States, a faithful reprint of the classic Old Germany book, published by Peter Feuser, 1240 pages, with 106 plates, linen with gold embossing in freshly printed condition. Contains a detailed treatise on the stamps of the German states, with particular attention to the production method, authenticity features, reprints, forgeries, cancellations and their forgeries. Published in 1895/1896 in individual editions by Hugo Krötzsch, Leipzig. The 73 supplementary reports published from 1896 onwards are also published here, as are all 106 of the 'phototype plates' so named by Krötzsch.
