Dawson, LE, The One Anna & Two Anna Postage Stamps of India 1854-55, 1948, handbook published by the legendary literary collector Garratt-Adams, complete with 12 separate plating plates, still in its original packaging from the estate of Garratt-Adams! One of 3 addressed and returned original packages with the handbook that were found when the estate of Garratt-Adams' literary holdings was liquidated. We were involved in the liquidation at the time. This is the last offer of this kind that we can make. The other two undeliverable original packages have already been sold! This envelope is addressed to an employee of the Orient Bank of India in Calcutta, could not be delivered there and was therefore returned to the sender. Complete with postage and markings. The envelope has slight signs of wear, see scans. The manual, as usual, has a barely legible title on the cover (printing error, weak print on marbled cardboard paper), otherwise in unused condition, the upper part of the pages is slightly squashed from shipping.
