Grobe, Hans, 067th stamp auction Hanover 10.-15.03.1941, auction catalog complete with plates, including the legendary Bergedorf letter front with 3x 3Sh. and 2x 4Sh. to Paris, then on the 46th Mohrmann auction (12-17.01.42), then lost. The letter is shown in its entirety, 3 Sh. and 4 Sh. as a pair and 1x 3 Sh. as a single piece. The lot description contains quotes from the examiners Dr. Werner and Georg Richter 'greatest old German rarity' etc. The two pairs of 3 Sh. and 4 Sh. on the letter represent the largest known units to this day! Extremely rare and sought-after war catalog. Only offered twice so far, last in 2008. #52144
