Description
The new handbook on the post offices and postmarks of the old German collecting area of Hanover. On 503 color pages, all "Hanoverian" postal locations as well as their early handwritten dispatch notes, the stamps of the pre-philatelic era, the stamps of the Kingdom of Hanover and their continued use in Prussia, NDP and the German Empire are covered.
Each stamp is shown in its original form. Early and late dates are listed and a current valuation is made with over 6,000 prices. In addition to the local and posting stamps, field post, railway post and disinfection stamps are also catalogued.

The work has been awarded gold and grand gold nationally and internationally and received the DASV Literature Prize in 2024.
